This listing is for 50 pieces of dyed over natural turquoise blue mini peacock tail feathers. These natural green iridescent peacock tails are the mini version of the typical peacock tail feathers. These feathers are dyed over natural peacock feathers so the color mostly shown on the stem of the feathers and just a little on the eye.
These feathers range from 3-6" long. The eye of the feather is approximately 3/4" big with deep green tips that researchers believe are not a result of pigment but rather reflection and absorption of light caused by the unique structure of the feather.
The color on the photo might be a little brighter than the feathers in reality due to lighting. You may see the color better when you see it under sunlight. Easily recognized by all, the male peafowl, or peacock, is known for his brilliant, mate-attracting display of naturally colored feathers.
You can use these peacock tail feather eyes for crafting, jewelry making, Halloween costume, headpieces, wedding display, fly tying and so much more. Not all feathers are perfect as they are technically used by the bird but some steaming and trimming will revive this feather to its original glory.

Decent quality and value
The peacock feathers were delivered quickly. I had ordered them for my wedding and they arrived so fast I was worried about storing them. But I simply put them in a paper bag and loosely covered them to protect from dust; it has been several weeks now and they still look pristine. Most of them look absolutely beautiful, but about 2-3 of them are a little thin or even broken. I expected them to be a higher quality than the 'regular' (undyed) peacock feathers, but they were about the same. Still, the color is beautiful and the 7 or so high quality ones will look gorgeous for the wedding. If I had it to do over again, I would have ordered two batches of this so I would have ended up with plenty of high quality feathers. Or I simply would have stuck with the regular undyed peacock feathers, which I think are just as beautiful, at the cheaper rate. Either way, if I ever need feathers again, moonlightfeather is the first place I am looking.

Feathers are very nice quality - good size with nice size eyes. Packaging was great - feathers were in perfect condition. Very pleased, would definitely order again.
