This listing is for 1/2 lb off white ostrich tail feathers. There are approximately 125 feathers in 1/2 pound. These ostrich tail feathers are very much like ostrich body drabs but have longer quill and less fiber. These white ostrich feathers range in size from 12 to 16 inches with wispy hair-like feathers coming out from the stiff quill in the center of the plume. Sometimes you might find a few shorter feathers in the pack. They are bleached and clean professionally.

Ostrich tail feathers are very much like drabs but has more quill and less fiber. This can be helpful for mounting the feather in an ostrich feather centerpiece. Unlike drabs, ostrich tail feathers have a long quill at the bottom. The length varies, but it can be as much as 1/4 the length of the overall feather.

This set is for feathers only. No vase or foam included. You will need at least 20 to 30 off white ostrich feathers for a table centerpiece. This is a good size for starters and this set should be the minimum required to make a centerpiece. Feathers are clean and sanitized, and ready to be used. This size feathers will be good to use with 24" and up trumpet or Eiffel Tower vase.

These bulk white ostrich tail feathers vary in shape and size. Please expect some minor imperfection. You can use these feathers for bouquets, carnival, floral arrangements, Halloween, headbands, holiday trimmings, Mardi Gras, mask making, party decorations and wedding.

I didn't have high expectations for these feathers as I had to compromise for these verses the 25" inch ones I originally wanted to get. On a strict decorating budget for my daughters Baptism I was impressed. These feathers are still a decent size for the cost and the quality is excellent. Yes there are some ugly unuable feathers in the pack since they are bulk so I did have to order an extra pack as 2 wasn't sufficient with the sporadic ugly/unusable feathers. I would Def. order from this company again too, very fast efficient service.
