This listing is for 1/4 Lb. of dyed red loose duck cochettes / cosse wing feathers. There are approximately 400-500 duck feathers in this pack and feathers are approximately 3-5 inches long and 1/2 and inch wide.
 
Duck cochettes are narrow, stiff pointer feathers from domestic white Peking ducks. These small wing feathers are well suited for mask making, head dress, angel wings, Halloween costumes, dream catcher, jewelry making and other applications where a short, stiff feather with clean brilliant color is needed. 
 
These duck feathers vary widely in shape and sizes. They are packed by weight so there will be a mix of imperfect feathers in them but please rest assured that you are getting high quality duck feathers from us. They are clean, sanitized and ready to be used.

    We floated a few of these onstage but preferred the Red Turkey T-base feathers for our use.
    These will be stored in my stage props workshop and might end up on costumes as well.
