This listing is for 5 pieces of natural white tip grouse plumage feathers. Each feather range from 1-3 inches long as shown in the picture. These rare feathers are collected from Idaho during hunting season.

Ruffed grouse have two distinct morphs; grey and brown. These tails came from the brown ruffed grouse. The ruffs are on the sides of the neck in both sexes. They also have a crest on top of their head, which sometimes lies flat. Both genders are similarly marked and sized, making them difficult to tell apart, even in hand. The female often has a broken sub terminal tail band, while males tend to have unbroken tail bands, though the opposite of either can occur. Females may also do a display similar to the male.

Very rare feather that will look extremely beautiful on jewelry and other types of craft. They are also commonly used for Fly tying. Feathers vary in shapes and sizes. Some natural wear on the feather can be found but they are clean and sanitized, ready to be used.
