This listing is for 1/2 yard of dyed red half bronze coque tail strung feathers along the cording. There are approximately 300-400 feathers in this pack. These feathers are approximately 8-10 inches long.

This style of feather is dyed over half bronze rooster tail feathers, which gives an iridescent green to black sheen where the dyed color does not show through. Most of the color comes out on the base of the feathers.

The feathers are long and sturdy, but not too stiff, and are stitched together at the bottom near the quills. Strung feathers are a little more expensive, but they are great for a cleaner workspace. Feathers are clean and sanitized, ready to be used. You can use these feathers for costume making, carnival costume, wedding decoration, millinery, fly tying and so much more.

The feathers came in good time and packaged appropriately so they would not be damaged. They were just as I had expected, except it seems like there were less than 300-400 feathers in this half yard. Granted, I did not count them, but it just looked like less. Having said that, they were just as I had hoped, and really did perfectly for my needs. they were sturdy and stood up well. I was making an Aztec style headdress for a school project. I am very satisfied.
