1 Dozen - Black Stripped Rooster Hackle Feather

Product Description

These stripped rooster hackle feathers are made from the cape on the rooster's neck that have been stripped and sewn onto a polyester-blend based tape. You can easily pull the off the trim and incorporate the black feathers into your design.
 
The fringe is approx 4-5" long. The hackle feathers have an iridescent shine which makes the colors we dye very bright and vivid.
 
The stripping on the rooster feathers is a unique look that comes from stripping approx 3/4 of the lower part of the feather leaving the beautiful tips. The tips of the hackle are much smaller and delicate looking than the coque tail feather.

    I bought several different kinds of feathers and was very pleased with all of them. The ladies, young and old of my church are going to make Fascinator Hats to wear Easter. These feathers will make beautiful additions to the hats.
