This listing is for 10 pieces of bleached and dyed purple ostrich drab feathers. These ostrich drabs range in size from 11 to 13 inches with wispy hair-like feathers coming out from the stiff quill in the center of the quill.

You will need approximately 20 to 30 feathers for table centerpiece and 11-13" are suitable for vase between 18" and 24" vase. This is a good size for starters who is on budget.

These feathers are called ostrich drabs and are from the body feathers of an ostrich. They are nice full feathers with elongating shape. These feathers are naturally molted and dyed for preference. These ostrich drab feathers available in a variety of colors for all of your projects. You can use them for wedding centerpiece, costume making, mardi gras event, floral arrangement, fly tying, dream catcher and other crafting purpose.

There may be some imperfections on the feathers as they are technically used by the bird but with some trimming and sorting they will be in much better shape. All feathers are clean, sanitized and ready to be used.

This was my first time ordering ostrich feathers. I usually get them elsewhere but I was in a tight time situation and I know I can depend on your shipping and your peacock feathers are consistently beautiful. I was very disappointed in the color of these purple feathers. They looked like they should have been dyed a bit longer, and had an unevenness of color that was not up to your usual standard. The color of my black feathers was deep, rich and consistent. The pirple looked unfinished by comparison. For my purposes, each feather must stand beautifully alone. There will be a couple in every batch that I can't use; I understand that. But I wasn't happy using any of these, although I had no other choice. I used as few as I could and will have to repurpose the rest.
