I bought feathers to make feather brushes for cooking, and was not sure which type of feathers I would need for my project. I received two phone calls from customer service so that they were sending just what I really needed. Thanks so much for your help! I made a couple of the brushes this evening, and the feathers worked perfectly!
I bought the feathers to repair all the "Da Purr-peller" refills that my cats tore to bits (it's a cat toy that cats loooooove to play with) since the refills are kind of expensive now. Refills use to be just a tad over $4.00 now they are asking $10.00 (They are really proud of their refills) So, once the toy is chewed up or feathers missing, I remove the old feathers, use a small drill to wallow out the existing holes again, cut the quill down closer to the feather, put a small dab of good glue (I've use JB Weld or RTV...JB Weld dries faster) in the hole or on the quill, and insert the quill at a very slight angle with the leading edge 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch higher than the trailing edge. Then let the glue dry, the toy dosen't spin as fast (with the new fearthers) as it use too but the cats can't tell the difference. The feathers I got came in a timely manner and were priced well...heck, shipping cost more than the feathers did....lol....but the savings I got from fixing the toys were we'll worth it....whatever your project is I'd use these feathers.

I bought the feathers as replacements on my cat's favorite toy. She doesn't treat the feathers kindly and replacement is frequent. I especially appreciate that they haven't been treated with toxic chemicals. My cat and I thank you.
