4 Pieces - Natural Turquoise Blue Indian Roller Exotic Wing Feathers

1 product review

Product Description

This listing is for 4 rare pieces of natural Indian roller wing feathers. These are all natural wing feathers and each of them are approximately 3-6" long. These pretty feathers  has 3 shades of bright blue, turquoise and indigo on each feather.

The Indian Roller also called the Blue Jay in former times is a member of the roller family of birds. They are found mainly in the Indian Subcontinent, but also in a wider arc stretching from Iraq to Thailand and are best known for the aerobatic displays of the male during the breeding season. They are very commonly seen perched along roadside trees and wires and are commonly seen in open grassland and scrub forest habitats.

These feathers are perfect for fly tying, jewelry making, accessories making, boutonniere and other crafts that require small feathers that stands out. We hardly get these feathers in stock, only whenever it is available.

All feathers vary widely in shape and sizes. Not all feathers are perfect as they are natural and some trimming on the feather is required. Since the feather is quite rare, imperfection is common. Some steaming will perk up the feathers.

Please note that dyed might look slightly different in color from the computer.  Although the differences should only be slight, please understand that all feathers are natural thus impossible to be 100% identical.
