This listing is for 1 yard of ivory goose pallet parried feather trim. There are approximately 100 feathers in this 1 yard trim. These feathers are approximately 5 to 7 inches long. Goose pallet are similar to goose nagoire but is a little stiffer and longer in size but smaller and higher quality than goose satinettes.

They are firmer feather, with a wispy fluffy feather near the quill. The top is round and slightly curved with a paddle-like shape with natural sheen on them. These feathers are very beautiful and are stitched together at the bottom near the quill. Parried is a process where the back quill of the feather is shaved to make them softer and easier to maneuver. They are more expensive than the loose ones, but easier to handle and makes for a neater work area.

Goose pallets are perfect for headband making, headdress, wedding headpieces, mardi gras, costume, earrings and other jewelry craft projects. They are also popular in dress making and fly tying. Feathers are clean, sanitized and ready to be used. Please expect minor imperfection as they are not handpicked.

Component for Angel Wings

I haven't actually started this project but want to make some angel wings using real feathers and fiberglass rods. I purchased some regular wing feathers for the primary and secondary feathers and want to use the trim feathers a covert or covering feathers on top of the longer feathers. I think these will work great as a component. I'll give an update as the project progresses.
