These feathers are long and stiff. You can curl them like how you would curl a ribbon to create a desirable spiky look on floral arrangement and jewelry findings.
Goose biots are strips of spiky feathers that are trimmed from the short side of a goose wing quill. They have many decorative uses especially in millinery and craft applications. It is also very popular to use them to make Christmas tree! Feathers vary widely in shape and size and not all feathers are perfect due to the nature of the feather.

These are the craziest things I have ever ordered in my life but they are also the coolest things as well! They don't look like much until you twist them open but then...amazing! I lightly over-dyed mine to tint them black to make a small Halloween tree. Thank you
