These black ostrich feathers are stitched along on a trim. They are perfect for weddings, for dresses and other crafting purposes. There are approximately 1000 feathers in this yard and feathers are approximately 4-5" in height.
This black ostrich feather fringe trim is listed as a two ply by the manufacturer. It is about 50% denser than standard one ply. The height of this feathers are about 4 to 5 inches long and attached to a matching color trim.

description claims approx 1000 feathers in a yard; being generous I just counted 20 in one inch. This looks NOTHING like the misleading picture.

a Great addition to my Sweater!
I sewed one layer (2 yards) on the bottom edge of my sweater and it transformed my sweater from a regular sweater to an expensive and fancy one. If you have "hips", I suggest that you stretch the sweater as you sew the feathers, so that you can pull down your sweater.

good but not what I expected
The feathers were beautiful and they shipped to my area quickly,however they were thinner than pictured which resulted in me having to order more yards than I intended. 10 more yards to be exact...
